We Socialize
We feel that socializing is a major factor in having a dog that is a joy to be around. We keep the pups in an exercise pen in the living room, and as soon as they have their eyes open encourage our sons, and the children of friends to play gently with the pups.
I spend time with the puppies before that time getting them used to being handled. I also start clipping nails at two weeks of age, as I feel that this is an important item for the pups to experience. If is done gently now, it is not so frightening when they are older.

Welcome

We live on a ranch in the high desert of Elko County, Nevada.  Our dogs are raised as pets, and puppies are given the attention that we like our own pups to receive when they are young.  We think we are producing some very nice, social miniature pinschers.
